O_O..... I just checked... and there's like... 9985 beanies for sell..... TY beanies... a LOT of the older (pre 2000) beanies are very cheap... and there's several lots too...

I don't see a lot of Beanies going on eBay. When I was considering selling mine, I checked, but then I remembered Elly collects them and I'd rather she have them. But no, I didn't see a lot. o_O Unless something changed in the last month or so.

Oh god yeah. That makes me gag, too. >__> What the hell, right? I love the older one sos much. And some of the newer designs are cute. I just never liked the "people" much when they started coming out with those. O__o

Seriously, Goetz makes some damn pretty play dolls. American Girl dolls all have the SAME UGLY FACE though. I swear the only difference is their hair and SOMETIMES skin tone.

I agree. =3 I let my brother play with my childhood American Girl dolls, and they're $100-some bucks.

...Ironic as I know for a fact they're produced by German company Goetz and THEY charge $30 for their (nearly identical but prettier) play-dolls. Just Pleasant Company slaps a fancy name on them and can charge $70 more.

I love seeing them loved like that.

I mean, some collectors are all like, 'don't touch them, they're gonna be worth something' and all that crap. I love to plop them on my shoulder while I'm doing something sometimes and all that xD Or hug them spontaneously.

When the baby puppy's not around, that is. She can't distinguish yet between mommy's toys and her own. >_<

Sadness though. No one has anything cool that I used to have. ;___; And now my memory is shot to shit. x3

We went to Goodwill again and it was so packed with kids - bratty ones too -- and various other annoyances that I didn't pick up the beanie I saw. x3 I had him already, but I just have this affinity for 'em, you know? Plus it was Crunch the shark. <3 <3 shark.

I'm still looking, I KNOW I have more! My collection's at least 100 beanies. XD;; I only have emotional attachments to a few, so MOST I'm willing to give up. XD;; BUT. I'll be updating this as I find them.

Right now I've found:
Ariel (greeny-blue bear with flowers and a sun on its breast)
Cubbie (a brown bear)

They have swing tags still.
