Bio: Brandy is an orphan born and bred on Cinnabar Island. Her complexion is ruddy and her clothing is summery almost all year long as a result, and she
absolutely hates cold weather. Her parents died several years prior in mysterious accident, the information of which has never been shared with her. She lived
on her own as a street urchin, begging, stealing, doing what needed to be done to survive until she was taken in by the gym leader Blaine. She got his
attention when she lit a match under his foot one day and escaped with a few of his spare pokeballs. The older trainer followed the girl and found her trying
to capture Pokemon from the nearby abandoned mansion. As she didn't have any of her own, she was failing miserably. He found out her story and took her in.
Brandy refers to him as Uncle or Uncle Blaine, despite lacking any actual blood relation. She's also woefully unware of her Uncle's position as a gym
leader, and just assumes he's a really good trainer in his spare time. After all, he's usually just running the Cinnabar Inn, and the gym is hidden
away.
Brans is not actually related to the Brandy most of the former Brigadiers would recognize. While she does look somewhat like her, her hair is longer, she's older, and she's a lot less formal. Their personality is similar too (tomboyish, do-what-you-have-to attitude, fondness for Growlithes, etc), but they really are different people. Brans has not taken the Pokemon Trainer's exam yet, partially due to laziness, and partially because Blaine won't let her until she successfully solves one of his riddles. She's not very good at them, and hadn't had much reason to put forth much effort. However, the promise of a surprise from her Uncle has her intrigued…
