These are my pets (a couple others live here but not technically mine):

Poopers: My "baby" (even though he's an adult cockatiel), that I've had since he was 2 months old (got him from a crappy pet store where the owner couldn't have given a shit less about the animals he peddled, they were just commodities, not too long before it finally ran out of business).

Daddy: The first dog we've had here that really bonded to me, my American Pit Bull Terrier we got when his owners couldn't handle four high-energy medium sized dogs anymore (originally came from a dreadful situation), I was actually looking for a puppy of a different breed when I got him, but something just told me to call the number on the big "free Pit Bull, friendly 3.5 years", and I have never regreted it since, he's become like a son (a rowdy teenage son that thinks everyone is a friend, and loves unconditionally, but still) to me.

Velcro: A little cat (we think she's Pixie-bob/Bengal mix based on appearance, wildcat-like markings/tufted ears, and personality) my fiance found and I rescued off the streets who was severely underweight, small, and dehydrated; was a crazy bitch until she was finally healthy enough to be spayed, and taught me how different cats are than dogs (going into heat every two weeks for nine months out of the year...yeah...not good) and has become the poster-child of why all pet cats should be altered for their benefit, ours, and society's.
