I have a 14" plushie rabbit and Astrid has a 15" inch leopard plushie I want to make some clothes for, since the ones I'm finding in stores are
waaaay overpriced. Anyone have any cute patterns? My pattern EDITING skills are great but my making ones, not so much. XD;;

I have some American Girl sized clothes patterns, and some Bitty Baby sized ones. I'm going to see if I can edit them to fit.

Well, it's been discovered that as is, they ALMOST fit... the armholes, though, are impossibly too small. Tailholes also need to be made in any pants. So
it looks like I just need to widen the arm holes, and maybe make the back a bit bigger (as they're wider than an American Girl) and I have a nice Build a
Bear costume.
Oh, yeah, didn't mention. XD;; They're Build a Bear plushies. But a freaking T SHIRT for them at Build a Bear is like $6-$8, much less an entire outfit! I love the plushies but the clothes are simply too much.

Oooh.
That sounds reasonable for working with the pattern. Not too much to mess around with, you know? Yeah, I agree with those Build-a-Bear plushes and outfits, good god! Even the plushes are costly if you try and get 'retired' ones now. I never knew they'd go for so much. But they're so cute. |

We're going in after we get paid again to each get the new owl plushie because he's limited edition and we don't want him to go retired on us
before we get him. I seriously do think $20 is too much for one of their plushies but they're good quality and the making experience is pretty awesome.
There are a few cheap ones, though. Like, I have the frog and the bunny and my bunny was $12 because she's one of the "classic" plushies. Astrid
missed the tiger, and we looked it up on eBay. The tiger goes from $50 to even $100!
Astrid and I both have retired ones- she has the snow leopard and I have the frog- and I already have people in my family offering to buy them. >_>

Aww, they have an owl now?! I love owls! I've never went but I do own a few because people didn't know what they had so I snagged them in lots of
plushes off eBay. LOL. I think most of the $20 is for the whole "scene" thing, the making and everything. Like the experience. But they are good
quality, like you said, and for some reason they shoot up like mad when they're retired. O_o
